Exactly what we needed tonight to stay warm. It was colder than we expected and we didn’t come prepared with jackets, but Sakana came through. High quality Japanese food that’s open late—hard to beat. This was our second time here and we’ve officially declared it a solid downtown dinner spot. Warm sake, fresh fish, and killer bentos. The uni burrata gets points for thinking outside the box, but I wouldn’t order it again. Still, 9/10 would recommend!

Sushi never tasted so good. I sit at the bar and get amazing service from Chanel. With her hypnotic beauty, she whips up the finest cocktails and the prices are moderate. The ventilation could be better, but overall I recommend this neighborhood sushi spot for its happy hour.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great and staff was especially friendly. Thank you so much to the chef who made my little one her own little roll. It was the cutest thing ever and my baby ate it up so quick! I come here for my bday every year it’s our annual celebration I gave the service a 2 star because I came in once super casual and they weren’t waiting on us

Ya gotta go for their happy hour! Beautiful space, very chill cover songs in the background, freshly made sushi, and tea bags with whole leaf green tea. Very attentive service. Great deal - and they have one happy hour 5-7 and another late night. Check out their website.

Awesome place and super friendly staff. You gotta try the sushi burrito—it's not amazing, but it's super innovative (taste was just okay). The spicy shishito wasn't spicy at all, but the crispy tuna was decent. Price is unbeatable.

This was a great experience for me to have with my family when I had the opportunity to get food with them. One in the history books I wouldn’t mind going there again. If you love sushi like me this is definitely the place that you should go to. They are open from 5 PM - Midnight. Happy hour is BOGO everyday is 5 PM - 7 PM. I’m waiting for them to open so I can bring my friends over. They have a wide variety of selections of great food. This place is pretty expensive so be ready to cash out at least 100 plus dollars totally worth it though.

The food was great, we had a total of 4 different sushi rolls, my Girlfriend and I went in for happy hour which is buy one roll get one free or buy one cocktail get one free and they also happen to have the Sapporo beer on happy hour. The service was great. Everyone was very helpful and quick, keep in mind that the restaurant was about 30% busy. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice and classy sushi experience in DTLA
